Need more commun plants

I was so surprise when i didnt saw Jasminium, Bamboo or another plants. About texture, there are miss pergola, and flowers for walls too. You really need a bigger data base for professionnal.

IScape

Ive just purchased this app for my iPhone but immediately saw the app was more suited to the iPad. Id suggest going to the developers support site and watch the video on how to use the app as there doesnt seem to be any info about how the app works. After seeing the how-to video, its quite simple to add a variety of materials and plants to your photos to visualize what your landscape might look like. The database is limited now, but the developer intends to keep adding more images which will make the app even more useful. You have to be knowledgable about which plants grow in your neck of the woods. Palm trees dont thrive in the Saskatchewan prairies to my knowledge. A larger image database obviously would improve the app. However, for basic landscaping needs, its a simple tool that can get you started to visualize various changes to your landscape. Its fun to see "what if" but Id do a bit of research on suitable plants and available landscaping materials in my area before Id get to work to make my own "oasis" come to life.

Good idea hope you keep improving

This is a good idea the downside is the app is very slow and the final rendering is very blury, this is strange because when you look at the preview image the image looks very good but when you put it on your photo it becomes blurry With some improvements this could become a very good app.

Needs some work

This app could really use a copy/paste feature for placing multiple objects in the scene. It is also lacking the ability to move objects in front of or behind other objects, which would make scenes appear more realistic. Its useful and more or less does what its supposed to do, but the price tag is a bit steep for the quality of this app. Hopefully future updates will bring enhanced functionality.

What a waste

What a waste of $$$ + ever since I download this app my phone keeps crashing. I have stop using altogether and now my phone is back to normal. Very frustrating and instructions dont come with this app, you need to on the net.

Piece of garbage

I feel completely robbed of my money this app is way over priced wouldnt recommend it to anyone. It doesnt even deserve 1 star complete dissapointment.

IScape

I do landscape design and really like this app. It gives you a good idea of what the design would look like if you added different flowers, shrubs and trees. Also hardscape options. And love the ability to enlarge and shrink the plants/trees to size. It needs a greater database of plants/shrubs/trees, particularly for our more northern climate in Canada. However, the developers are very aware of, and open to, expanding the database, and have plans to do so.

Limited use, freezes

Limited plant selection, especially for northern climates. Freezes often. Unable to make detailed edging elements or allow masking to put objects behind things in the photo.

Awesome app!!!

Amazing app! Paid version is well worth the extra couple of dollars just for all the extra graphics and features that you get, such as duplicate and moving forward! My only complaint is that there are no Toba or Snowbird Hawthorn trees, nor are there any cedar (arborvitae) trees in the database. That said, however, this app has tons of great graphics and Ive spent hours playing around on it. I also love the fact you can take a picture of your own yard to see how things would look. Wonderful idea!

Does not work anymore

This was a great app.. Purchased it for my front landscaping and was very helpful. When i wanted to do my backyard, it no longer works..., something changed...it kicks you out when you want to insert something. Now it is useless. Hopefully they fix it.

Not impressed

So many glitches and crashes.

Neat app for garden design but some serious bugs

Really liked this as i needed to visualize a new garden design. Database of images is decent, features for moving/duplicating items are pretty good. Unfortunately it saved my gardens as black shots and they arent accessible in the app for editing. It also did not share my shots on Facebook like it said. For the cost, these bugs should really be addressed. Really floated between 2 and 3 stars here but not being able to save your creations was a major downfall.

Need fix

Cant save or upload to Facebook

Great app but missing a couple key features

All in all my experience has been a great one with iscape. For the price point (paid $9.99) I would have liked the ability to do a top down/aerial view plan. Also being able to print a shopping list of your plants and trees was something I was expecting... Another thing Im noticing is that for anything other than straight on views the inserted objects are a little tough to work with. Fencing for example doesnt maintain any perspective so you can only really do horizontal runs and gates of varying widths force you to re-size the shape which either leaves you with a super tall or really short fence. The trees and shrub selection is decent although something as basic as a Japanese maple (a staple in many southern Ontario gardens) was missing. Looking forward to an increased library down the road.

Absolute waste of money

This is a waste of time and money especially if you live in Canada you also have to have nothing in the photo you take or all the plants you choose are in front ie.... Lawn furniture, BBQ.

Buying this app I lost $9.99 and my time trying to use it

This app is a total waste of money, from my point of view. This is that kind of app that when I need this or that I need to buy extra. The picture view it is nice try. It is impossible to make a nice selection using the finger. Placing textures is another frustrating experience, because when apply a texture, cant change the percentage of the texture... So looks so big and bulky. Adding plants looks so fake and was so discouraging that make close the app... ... And never open it. That was my experience...

Easy to use but expensive and very limited library

This app is easy to use but it is too expensive with too many in app purchases, and the library of plants is extremely limited

Poor Selection

I was excited to download a landscape app to help me redesign my front yard, especially because iScape allowed me to use a photo of my own yard. I started with the free version and was EXTREMELY disappointed with the plant selection. There were only a few plant images to choose under each category (ie tree, shrub, etc.). I took a chance and upgraded the app, which cost $11.99, and was again disappointed by the lack of available plant images. There are extra packages you can download for a few dollars each, but each one only gets you a handful more plants to use. There is no way to reshape or add beds, but to paste plants over your image, and there are no stock images or design tips to help you along. Still in search of a good landscape design app.

I wouldnt use this even if free

Terrible app. Clunky and not intuitive. What you end up with is so rudimentary its useless. Worse than most free apps. I want my 13.99 back.

Very frustrating and a little useless.

Although its easy to use and visually beautiful its also frustrating. My first hour working I found it can suddenly shut down and you lose all your work if you dont pay them more money for a save your work option. On principle I wont because this is like picking your clients pocket while they do some bug fixing. You can save image to your own library but when it suddenly closes down you have to go back and rebuild it all over again. It would be helpful to have a way keeping a running list of all the names of the plants youve selected so you can actually go buy them at a nursery. It does offer a lot of plant info from the list but you cant access that from your completed image. So unless you already know the names of the plants remaining on your final version, it wont tell you. Also there is no sliding timeline of seasonal bloom. ie, if you have selected an Azalea it appears to be in full bloom at the same time as fall blossoms and this can result in a very busy colour scheme that is quite deceptive. But if you are trying to show someone what a garden may look like despite this I suppose it may help.
