Spectacular landscape designs made easy with iScape!

It’s a great app for quick and straightforward designs right on the spot, and we use actual images to give you the most realistic rendering possible.

Homeowners, universities, landscaping companies, and most of the top publications worldwide have lauded iScape as a great landscape and garden design tool. Last year, iScape was featured at New England Grows, the largest horticultural trade show and educational conference in the Northeast. Here are a couple quotes you can view below:

• "When you’re planning a new garden, or considering a change to an established one, it can be difficult to visualize the results. This is where iScape comes in handy." - The NY Times
• "If you’re DIYing it, iScape makes it easy to plan out what to buy and how to put it all together. If you’re hiring a landscaper, the app can help you explore ideas and share your vision." - Forbes

How can iScape help you? Our user friendly technology provides easy-to-use virtual design tools so you can portray your vision at ease. Having a landscape design app to portray your vision right on the spot will help eliminate the guesswork and confusion – which in return – will save you valuable time and money. Simply snap a picture and start dragging and dropping scapes into your yard.

One of the biggest challenges for a contractor is how to portray to the client what the completed project will look like before any work is performed. It’s equally challenging for the customer to portray their vision to the contractor. iScapes intuitive technology solves this problem.

Are you a do-it-yourself landscaper? iScape can help you decide what to buy and where to plant it. Planning to hire a landscape contractor? You will have actual images to help explain your vision.

Pros and cons of iScape app for iPhone and iPad

iScape app good for

I do landscape design and really like this app. It gives you a good idea of what the design would look like if you added different flowers, shrubs and trees. Also hardscape options. And love the ability to enlarge and shrink the plants/trees to size. It needs a greater database of plants/shrubs/trees, particularly for our more northern climate in Canada. However, the developers are very aware of, and open to, expanding the database, and have plans to do so.
Amazing app! Paid version is well worth the extra couple of dollars just for all the extra graphics and features that you get, such as duplicate and moving forward! My only complaint is that there are no Toba or Snowbird Hawthorn trees, nor are there any cedar (arborvitae) trees in the database. That said, however, this app has tons of great graphics and Ive spent hours playing around on it. I also love the fact you can take a picture of your own yard to see how things would look. Wonderful idea!
I have been in the landscape Industry for 15ys. Have worked for two of the most reputable companies in my county, which is rated the second wealthiest county in the United States per capita. The people here want perfection. They demand it. I quit my full time landscape job at the large company and just started my own business. It was incredibly frightening. I have two baby boys and pay cash for all my equipment. I dont have the money now to pay for the professional landscape software used at the larger companies. I simply cant afford that kind of cost right now. This software has been awesome for me. I have sold numerous large jobs simply by snapping a photograph of the area I am landscaping. It enables me to relay my ideas to the homeowner who may not have a clue the plants I am envisioning because they dont have experience in the landscape field. If you already have a basic knowledge of plants, their sizing, their growth habits, and acceptable substitutions, this software is a HUGE help. Its helped me in a time of extreme uncertainty to feed my baby boys, and pay my mortgage. Take it for what it is. I dont remember what I paid, somewhere around $10....it has help to sell $30k plus worth of jobs for my company. Jobs Im not sure I would have sold if I didnt have a means to relay my ideas. Snap a picture, go home, or to your truck, edit the photo, plug in the plantings, and send the message. Sure, the software may not have every plant known to man....you need a fine line columnar buckthorn? Just stretch a capitata yew...tell the homeowner that isnt the EXACT plant you will use, show them what a buckthorn looks like and at least you are in the ballpark. I have found the homeowners love the personal touch and the added time taken in explanation. It shows you care. I cant begin to describe the landscape ideas I have to customers....but a picture is worth a thousand words. And in my case...thousands of dollars.
Purchased all the upgrades. Great app to create a landscape idea over the current condition. More plants needed. Why no roses?
I did end up buying the in app purchase so I would have more plants to choose from and there is an additional purchase if you want to save your designs. Honestly, both are worth the money. Its a really cool tool if you are looking to landscape or re-design your landscape.

Some bad moments

I was so surprise when i didnt saw Jasminium, Bamboo or another plants. About texture, there are miss pergola, and flowers for walls too. You really need a bigger data base for professionnal.
This is a good idea the downside is the app is very slow and the final rendering is very blury, this is strange because when you look at the preview image the image looks very good but when you put it on your photo it becomes blurry With some improvements this could become a very good app.
This app could really use a copy/paste feature for placing multiple objects in the scene. It is also lacking the ability to move objects in front of or behind other objects, which would make scenes appear more realistic. Its useful and more or less does what its supposed to do, but the price tag is a bit steep for the quality of this app. Hopefully future updates will bring enhanced functionality.
What a waste of $$$ + ever since I download this app my phone keeps crashing. I have stop using altogether and now my phone is back to normal. Very frustrating and instructions dont come with this app, you need to on the net.
I feel completely robbed of my money this app is way over priced wouldnt recommend it to anyone. It doesnt even deserve 1 star complete dissapointment.
Limited plant selection, especially for northern climates. Freezes often. Unable to make detailed edging elements or allow masking to put objects behind things in the photo.
