Dont waste your money

I have a simple project that involves placing a border around a tree. The app does not account for the tree when placing a tree ring. Wasted of money

Great until it crashes... Which is ever third cutout

The app is really exciting, until you start using it. Im on an IPad w/ version 9.3.1 os, bought the upgrades to have all the landscaping options. Its really easy to use, but unfortunately crashes every third or fourth plant we lay out. Really disappointing. Whats worse... The support links for the app take you to a support site you have to register for. The registration isnt actually for access, its only for their email newsletter. Looks like these guys are gaming the iOS App Store rules to get a quick buck. Bummer.

Super Disappointed

I thought that by spending the $9.99 I would actually have plants to choose from...their selection is VERY limited. Then they want you to spend anouther $8.99 to unlock more features. Definitely not WORTH the money. Id like mine back. Had potential...sad.

Too expensive!

Paid $10 for it. Thought I was getting everything. Now there are more high dollar add ons. Dont buy. App will cost you way more that $10 in the long run.

Needs work

Great potential but limited options on trees, shrubs and plants, but I can live with that. What makes me want to delete it is the fact it just closes out of the blue. Need to fix ASAP.

Stop

Purchased what looked to be a promising garden planner. Description does not tell you that their database is limited and you will need to purchase several more in-app downloads to accomplish what is done on the intro video. The app also crashes pretty quickly and you cant even save a simple initial picture w/out purchasing an in app for that ability. I pride may self on being more careful with my $ but should have kept reading all the reviews

PROFESSIONAL Landscape Business. Picture worth a thousand words!

I have been in the landscape Industry for 15ys. Have worked for two of the most reputable companies in my county, which is rated the second wealthiest county in the United States per capita. The people here want perfection. They demand it. I quit my full time landscape job at the large company and just started my own business. It was incredibly frightening. I have two baby boys and pay cash for all my equipment. I dont have the money now to pay for the professional landscape software used at the larger companies. I simply cant afford that kind of cost right now. This software has been awesome for me. I have sold numerous large jobs simply by snapping a photograph of the area I am landscaping. It enables me to relay my ideas to the homeowner who may not have a clue the plants I am envisioning because they dont have experience in the landscape field. If you already have a basic knowledge of plants, their sizing, their growth habits, and acceptable substitutions, this software is a HUGE help. Its helped me in a time of extreme uncertainty to feed my baby boys, and pay my mortgage. Take it for what it is. I dont remember what I paid, somewhere around $10....it has help to sell $30k plus worth of jobs for my company. Jobs Im not sure I would have sold if I didnt have a means to relay my ideas. Snap a picture, go home, or to your truck, edit the photo, plug in the plantings, and send the message. Sure, the software may not have every plant known to man....you need a fine line columnar buckthorn? Just stretch a capitata yew...tell the homeowner that isnt the EXACT plant you will use, show them what a buckthorn looks like and at least you are in the ballpark. I have found the homeowners love the personal touch and the added time taken in explanation. It shows you care. I cant begin to describe the landscape ideas I have to customers....but a picture is worth a thousand words. And in my case...thousands of dollars.

Good, could be great

This is a good app. I bought the paid version and some of the add-ons. Ive been disappointed by the lack of updates though and havent used it as much as I would with a few improvements. Some features that would make it MUCH better: -zoom, if I could zoom in to work in detail on sections it would be very useful -copy/paste, the ability to copy a piece of my photo, such as a section of grass, ground cover, or mulch, and be able to paste it into new areas so that it matches my environment better -more plants and an easy way to submit plants or create my own within the app

Missing plants

For the price of the app, I would expect access to almost every type of plant. Found that way too many plants are not available to use. App is too basic for the cost.

Good

Purchased all the upgrades. Great app to create a landscape idea over the current condition. More plants needed. Why no roses?

Disappointed

Way too hard for me to use. I feel I wasted my money but Im deleting it anyway.

So cool! Super easy to use!

I did end up buying the in app purchase so I would have more plants to choose from and there is an additional purchase if you want to save your designs. Honestly, both are worth the money. Its a really cool tool if you are looking to landscape or re-design your landscape.

So-so before, even crummier now

Kicking myself for buying this app. I have used other landscape design software. This app is next to worthless. Try free apps from other designers before you waste your money on this.

Great App

I work for a landscape company for 26 years and this app is great. If it would print a list of materials when print image it would be awesome.

Keeps crashing!

Great when it worked but now it constantly crashes

Cutout tool is garbage

The cutout tool doesnt work properly. It cuts part out, but doesnt let you do anything with it, completely defeating the purpose. It has been available for a long time, costs $5, and is shameful that they charge for a completely broken feature.

Excellent!

I love this app. Ive used it to design more than 3 landscapes at various houses. I usually create 10 designs before I finally select the one I want. Few issues with not saving properly to MyDesigns feature, but overall performance is 90%

Still bad

It certainly has potential, but it is still broken. I paid $4.99 two years ago, and it still has problems

Landscaper

Great app. Needs more plants to make better.

To costly

Just purchased the app looking for a simple way to see what my yard could be. The problem is to put any of the plant images on the picture of the space costs additional money. So there is no way to play around and see what works with out costing a lot of money. Wasted $10 so buyer be warned.
